Again, note the tires on the Serpent.... Mind you, it was just a 6min main  I drove the damn tires off her!!! It was great!! lol

Had a chance to run my new kit yesterday. Really impressed! Anyone suggest some shock oil weights, keeping in mind im limited to the kit springs/bladders and pistons, until my upgrades come in? Thanks!

my maiden voyage is this Tuesday, I'm just running the box stock setup sheet specs.

I started off with stock oils, csi pistons with webbed bladders. idk, I would wait for the pistons if you got new ones coming... or spend some time sanding the stock ones.

I have 2 Hyperion duo chargers here. They can charge up to 15 amps per channel. Just make sure you have the power supply to support it. I use a much more 24 amp ps at the track and I have to limit each side to 8.5 amps or it shuts off. At home I have a Maxamps 24v brick ps. I don't remember how many amps it pushes But it will run 2 Hyperion duo charges pumping 15amps x4 into 4 seperate packs.

I'm using a Hyperion DUO3 0615i (2x 15A/180W) with a 12V/700W server power supply. I usually only charge at 1C though.

I have the venom duo. Its the exact same thing as the protek 610 duo except its cheaper, got mine for 110.00 and it has worked perfect so far. I also bought the protek super 20 power supply. Works great when charging my 2 5800 lipos at once

Thanks guys, I appreciate the input. After going racing this weekend and poking around the pits and talking to folks there with Hyperions, Ichargers, Hitec X4's and Powerlab, I think im going the Powerlab 8 route and a good 24v 1000w power supply and be done with needing to upgrade battery chargers for the foreseeable future.

Serpent arrives tomorrow. I will post up some pics when she is finished.

Had a blast yesterday and was great to see my Serpent family member ahead of me! :D The buggy felt great, cut the corners like a knife and took the jumps with ease. :sneaky: :tire:
