Does anybody have a good starting setup for the indoor clay track at Leisure hours in IL. I'll be running the 2.0 rear end upgrade. Thanks.

hey guys i end up buying the serpent 811 2.0 version and sold my be or should i have keep my be

I really like nitro more than electric but trying to find a regular pit guy is a pain the butt so I elected to go the (E) route for next year. If money wasn't a issue I would of kept the BE and still bought the nitro 2.0 and then you would have the best of both worlds.

I assume you are referring to the RC8Be. Having owned both of these, I can say without a doubt that the 811e is by far the better buggy.

yeah i thought if i buy the 2.0 and uesd the converstion make in e would be better but guess i was wrong

what servos are people running in these?

pballer2777 12-25-2012 07:03 AM

Ok so I have both nitro cars and it's time to complete the fleet. Who has the best price on the be?

I am considering the serpent as my new buggy. I know the wear on all parts is supposed to be superior to any other buggy. I wonder if this justifies the cost of parts though. Also what upgrades do yall recommend? How hard is the car to set up and drive? Thanks!

it really does justify it as you won't need any upgrades or major parts support. I run my car with stock suspension kit setting inserts, an aluminum serpent servo horn, low roll center rear toe block, different springs and shock pistons.

limit the shocks to 96 and 110 for a smooth track 5,7,3 in the diff and race the snot out of it .
