stock 5000 for now. Full suspension travel also, probably why it wheelied once, lots of weight transfer. Gotta work on that. It was just a radio shake down to make sure everything was good.

I thought that the manual accounted for the rotation of the motor, so you dont have to reverse the rotation...
maybe stick with the instruction setup and dont reverse the diff orientation?

The instruction setup has them reverse of normal 1/8th's, then with the motor orientation you get the same effect as a converted 1/8th. I'm reversing them from what the manual says so the motor rotation and torque go into the center. I may not be explaining it clearly but I'm sure most understand what I'm saying.

ok guys, i just raced my 811e for the first time yesterday at the warehouse(indoor track in helena al). the car is setup to the stock specs. overall the car felt pretty good but there are 2 hair pin turns that i was having problems with. i couldn't the car to turn like i needed it too and was being out steered by most every one in those turns. any suggestions, thanks
I think your the first person I've read on this thread that wasn't getting tight steering.
Also be sure and check those 4 plastic shims in the steering blocks. Mine were to thick and I took 2 of them out. As well I did have to sand down the shoulder on the steering posts a little to get really smooth and fast steering.
