I came across a snag with my build. The steering is all put together, posts, links akerman bar etc...yet the assembly does not rotate smoothly. Its very stiff. Not like my 10th scale buggies that rotate so easily. I can't image a servo pushing this with any speed.
I loosened the tension on that spring and that helped a little but its not longer at 4mm like the manual says. Any suggestions?

Has anyone tried this anti-roll bar shaft set and wires?

I really don't like the way the roll bars go and out, a real pain in the arse. wondering if this option is worth the upgrading too. Do the bars just slide in and out of it?

I had the same issue on my car and now all is buttery smooth!

Im am considering getting an 811e buggy, but have some questions, is there any problem areas on this buggy? Does it require any upgrades? Is the parts support good, I know in the past serpent parts were hard to get.

I run the Savox 1258 in my Losi SCTE which based off an 8th scale platform, but I'm told by friends running 8th a higher torque servo is required for these buggies.
I'm trying to decide between a Savox servo,
Or 2 different RadioPost servos.
The Torque model or the Multi model.
Torque Model,
torque @ 7.4V: 419 oz in
Speed: @ 7.4V: 0.09sec/60°
Multi Type Model
Torque:@ 7.4V: 305 oz in
Speed:@ 7.4V: 0.07sec/60°
In my 10th scale buggies and SC truck the Multi Model is perfect.
Any input from the Snake Pit please

Car is solid. Upgrades...Ive been running the car stock but the hard Anodized shock caps and the Aluminum towers would be worth the investment. You can find parts at Serpent America, or Absolute Hobbyz.

They do just slide in and out.
Absolute hobbyz has them for half the price of Amain. Don't know if this price was a mistake but I would buy them quick before they catch on.

Thanks Kik...nice find. I ordered 4 of them.
Thanks for the pics Netmaster. Can I also use my existing 2.5 stock wire and cut it to work with this or do I need to order new wires?
I dont understand what the CA glue in the hole would do. I tried it with lock tight and seen no difference. I guess I may try the sanding next but seems to me something else is wrong since its tight even without the ackerman bar.
-Edit- after taking the the links off, I can see the problem lies in the carriers...they are to tight. I'm going to take some of those plastic spacers out and see if that helps.

They do make changing the sway bars much easier. You will have to cut down the wire a few mm when using them in the front, otherwise it rubs the front bumper. These also run a little stiffer then the stock sway bars, so a 2.3mm (new) feels approximately like a 2.5mm (old).

RadioPost was at Nitro Challenge doing a show special for 40% off their products. I got them to hook me up after the fact since i couldn't find them during the finals. Got about $1600 worth of electronics (amain prices) for only $1100. 2 Radios, 2 cases, 5 receivers, 5 servos, 2 lipo batteries, and they threw in some hats, pit mat, lipo sack. a smoken deal.

My friends racing their products rave about them saying their cars are so much more responsive now, so I decided to go ALL IN at those prices.
BTW, RadioPost will be at the Las Vegas Silver State Nitro Challenge in April doing the same show special prices for anyone interested.
