Very happy with the way my truck is running right now, raced yesterday and there was no other pro 4s show up so they stuck me in with the 8ths scale e buggys. I quailifed 4th in the A, they run 15 min main, and I was running 4th at the 11 min mark when lipo cutoff came on, the top 3 were turning about a second of a lap faster than me, not to bad I don't think, and just for track time , I run the nitro B main and won it lol.

It was great to have people comeing to my pit at the end of the night askin me if my truck was a durango or losi, and watchin there faces when they knew it was a sc10...got to love it...

The truck is dialed. but it is not enough with the level of competition here.:(

send me a vid of you driving and/or one of your local races, maybe i can help you out. my truck is becoming pretty dominant around here, TQ and win today at our 50/50 cash race!:D i dont feel that there is a disadvantage from the SC10 anymore, its down to just driving skills.

I never used a tap, and honestly cannot think of a spot where it would have 'been nice'. But in reality all you need to do is use a body reamer and ream the hole "VERY SLIGHTLY" to start the bolt in the hole. It gives it a spot to seat and makes threading a breeze.

JEFFs SC10 01-01-2012 06:27 PM

you don't need taps.

I bought some cheap tools off of ebay once BIG mistake. Not on this kit but during the build I ended up stripping more than 2 screws. Even though they are losi tools they are still quality tools

This kit was a breeze screw wise. I just use a body reamer like coyote said, that just makes it a little easeir to start the screw. And since the kit mostly uses 2.5mm scews it is hard to strip screws :D
