My friend lodhammerdin made me a chassis brace today. I made a custom CF front plate so I can still use my lexan underbody.

I like that little piece there for the underbody. Nice job, Desert.

Hey guys,
Currently at my local track I am having a problem with my rear end packing up through the whoop section. Im running 37.5 with yellow in the front and 35 and yellow in the rear as my shock setup. I will go through the whoops and right at the end the rear end unloads and bucks the car to a front flip. I was going to put a looser oil in the shocks so they unload faster but wanted your guys take on it. Thank you I think I run 30f/25r/emulsion in 55 degree weather with 1.2 pistons, but I'm not going to tell you my truck is the hot ticket through whoops. It's not horrible. The pin modification helped through the whoops more than anything I did on the shocks. |

Thick oil and thick spring is creating a donkey kick. your back-end is too stiff causing you to pogo stick. |

I'm 35/30 with 1.2 and I do hit occasionally but man what a dead rear end.

Thats exactly what I was looking for and have you guys heard anything about anyone putting a reedy sonic 4.5 550 motor in their 4x4's?

I love this truck, it has completely changed my outlook on RC. After 2 days of driving this truck I can finally control my B4, something that I havent been able to do after 2 months of driving it.
I just wish my buggy could turn like my truck  My setup is mostly stock, except Im running 27.5w oil all the way around, 24mm height, Akbar on the 2nd hole, yellow front swaybar and blue rear, panther switch 2.0 tires with yellow panther inserts on hazzards and my battery slid all the way back. This is with the stock slipper, I have a clutch basket but havent installed it since I also have a center ball diff on the way :sneaky: I have yet to add any weight but as it drives now I dont really see the need, atleast for my drive style. I think Ill stay with stick packs over saddles since I dont see the advantage. |

Yep. But I haven't personally. Only experience i've had is 3rd person with a guy who put one in his Losi SCTE and burnt' out the sensor chip from overrunning his Truck.

Do you think this would be worth a shot in this truck for normal clay indoor club racing?
The motor 'will' work great. All things aside. a 550 built right is going to be a good motor. Reedy is a good company. |
Hello everyone. Ok so I have read this whole thread. I am intrigued:) And totally stoked to get my truck race ready. I already built the kit and put 50k in the front diff and 7 k in the rear. It feels good but I have not done any of the pin or slipper mods. I want to run at PRCR which is a tight high traction track in Portland. If I had 60 bux to throw at better performance what do you guys suggest? I can do my own pin mod (but not sure if I need to if I went with clutch basket and/or front slipper aftermarket parts. Serious replies only thanks in adv.
