I respectfully disagree. If you guys are having fun at your track, game on and don't let me stop you, but a $50 for a slipper basket and a chassis brace will pay for itself a couple of times over in belts and melted spurs.

Certainly you are entitled to your opinion.

As are you, but again I have seen none of this happen to many properly built sc10 4wd's..Im running a four pole motor and simply have not encountered these horror stories..To you and your brosef slasher, lets just agree to disagree!:tire:

It's not an assembly problem. I think it's a torque problem. The users who ran 540 motors didn't have any slipper issues (but did have heat issues), users tuning 6.5 550 motors seemed okay. Once you got to a 5.5 550 or more just about everyone had issues. I'll do a search and document it for you if you want.

I wish it was a build problem. If you follow the instructions, there is only one way to build the slipper. It's not that complicated. Then AE started using the clutch basket on the team trucks, the same weekend they started running 550 motors. And winning big races.

Which four pole are you running?

But that implies that thousands of people did not properly build their Sc10 4x4's man. It's just flat. out. Wrong.

That honestly can't even be an opinion at this point.

I'll gladly be the first one to tell someone when I don't think an upgrade is necessary. (Example: My ugly lead weight shoved in areas of my truck and a Chassis brace over the Exotek chassis.)

Started mine last night and got it finished today. So far I love the truck and cant believe how easily went together. I even got the body painted today. Hitting the track tomorrow for testing and fine tuning.:tire:

thanks,it was easy to do as long as you have a drill and dremel handy, you'll need the dremel to sunken the hole underneath for the screws. I ordered it about a week go. it really is high grade quality and the fit and finish is perfect!

Haha, nope! This is my first AE RC. 95% of all my land RC's I have owned have been Losi's.

But you can call me Rafael if it makes you feel more comfortable.;)
