Looking for a heat sink that will fit my sc10 4x4. Any idea of a brand? I know the space is limited bc it sits under trans. Thanks

Exotek chassis ordered! Question the Garodisc is for the clutch basket? And I can use the normal for the single side? How do you know when your pads are no good? Thanks!

Can't wait to hit the track with this baby. I'm already the king of 1/8 nitro buggy and 2wd SC at my track, now time to take the 4wd SC crown

No, you can run the Garodiscs with or without the clutch basket, and you can run the clutch basket with garodiscs, or standard pads, or the HT pads. Mixing it up allows you to play with how the power gets transferred to the front and rear. Kinda like changing diff fluid in a center diff.

Its about grip level, the standard pads are at the low end, hd in the middle and garos at the to fire grip level. The basket allows you to add an extra pad to power the rear of the truck.

On the tuning side of it, most people out a garo or at least a hd pad on the inside to power the front. I put my best pad in the back since the front is only powered by 1 face of the slipper pad. Inside of the basket is where to get creative, 2 garos or 2 sd or 1 of each. 2 sd pads is like running your slipper loose on a 2wd, 2 garos grip more so its like you tightened the slipper down. You have top play around here top find what works for you, I trend to like a lose slipper stop I have a hd pad on the inside and 2sd pads in the basket.

Good luck getting anyone to do THAT! How is a noob asking a question any different than one of the regulars asking one? Either way, an individual is looking for an answer to a question. We should all do our best to help each other regardless of how familiar one is with the truck.

Thanks for the info Mac The Knife.

will the new center diff still need to have the gear cover expanded to fit like with the clutch basket or will the stock cover work?

Great going Peter! Sooner or later I will make it down to race. Right now it's just practice... I need to knock the rust off!
