The setup sheet claims 1oz behind the battery, 1oz on the chassis back wall underneath the belt, and a 1/4 oz opposite the motor, and a 550 motor.

With the 540 you can skip the RH weights and get the chassis to scale correctly.

Why are the they only double and single'ing? you could easily take the inside line and triple that (like the losi), motor?

Thank you Craig, I check my notes and Kody wanted to make sure I knew he had 1 ounce on the rear of the battery in ADDITION to the rear of the chassis. He just said he had weight opposite the motor so I am guessing it was enough to balance out his motor.

Everyone is tired of people asking the same questions 50 times without actually reading the thread. Just use the search button to find what you are looking for and take the time to read the thread there is alot of good info in it.

Definatly look at the first page gives alot of good information when you start building the kit.

Another key to Kody and Ryan's set-up is the steering rack.

Don't forget that Marcus at RCshox.com is the only guy making them for us. :D

What is the advantage of the saddle pack conversion?

I haven't noticed that my car is out of balance with the stick pack and an the Exotech chassis.

Wild Cherry 12-08-2011 11:22 AM

Better balance & the battery forward helps the ft end pull harder & steer more...

The peice to run emulsion looks like a rubber circle right? Is bleeding etc the same as using a bladder?
Any tips on building them this way?
