What is cool is that you can set it up so the saddles are in the center, in the back or in the front with them. You can also set them up so that when used with the top deck/ battery hold down you can move your saddles front to back by using foam pads.

just got my sc10 4x4 kit today. so far its been a very smooth and easy build compared to the other builds i have done. are there any aluminum parts i should upgrade to?
I guess anything you brake. But I would buy tunning options like sway bars, a set of front and rear springs etc.

The Al Chassis is the new hot topic from exotek, besides that I haven't heard much from people upgrading the other Al stuff. Iv'e yet to break anything.

The SC10 4x4 is pretty heavy for a 540 motor, and has quite a bit of rotating mass. Associated suggests on any 540 motor, to run the largest rotor for more torque.
I would suggest getting a 550 motor, or a 4-pole 540, such as a Castle 1410 3800kv.
I got the pinned slipper kit, and some upgraded slipper pads first off. I hope that's all I need to do now. Swaybars in the future.
Ur gonna need way more than that if u wanna run with the big dogs!!!!

Unless your track is super small, and doesn't require much power, I would get a lower turn motor. Those electronics would be better suited for a 2wd buggy or truck.

13.5t is surely to small for a 4wd SC, it will be way to hard on that motor to get around the track especially up any jump faces. You will most likely burn the motor up with high temps. Just save the motor and try to find a used HV 6.5t or 5.5t they are usually pretty cheap. I ran one in my SCRT for a while and it was competitive.....Just my two cents worth
Diff questions
1.How often do you replace the washers and diff gears?
2.What washers are you guys using for the diffs? Are you using the diff rebuild kit or have you found different washers?
3.My diff cups have some wear on them from the cv pins. When should you replace diff cups and cvs?

I've run into my first problem building this kit. i have the front end together and the rear. i am up to the step putting the from arms on. i have noticed that there is like no steering. the ball studs are hitting the steering mechanism, so they barely travel. when i attach the steering links the only way it moves is when the links are at a steep downward angle
