Take this for what it's worth:

I think I have 'around' 50,000 internet posts on a variety of fourms using this username. People often accuse me of being the big meanie because I, frankly, don't suffer fools, online or IRL. I have the capacity to be an enormous jerkface and totally force the issue when I catch somebody weaseling around, or acting in a duplicitous manner. I'm okay with that because I expect (and maybe welcome) the same thing in return if I'm out of line.

While you may have gotten under some other users skin, I don't have a problem with what you wrote or how you wrote it, but I can totally understand how other users might either be offended, or take it the wrong way.

Craig , this thread works best when we treat each other
with respect .

If you disagree with anything , just say so .

Don't take it hard and add cut downs & such ....

We are all trying together to get this ride performing like none other so we have fun at our local race track .

CraigMBA: I run a 6.5T 540 as well with a 13mm rotor and a 17 pinion stock 48pitch spur, it comes off at 110 after 6mins every time. I am going to try a 18 tooth this weekend.

hig bite, smoothies, clay 60x90
PRCR is 40 x 110. Kind of like racing on a hot dog.

I have been running 93/16 to 14 but you must have a good fan on the motor to run a 540 2 pole with the 4 pole motors. The best fan I have used is the yeah racing 30mm one, seems to blow the most. I use the speedy in duel mode with the timing at 50 (in duel mode is only about 15deg) Not sure what rotor this motor has Murfdogg sent me to test but I think it is still a 12.5mm.

At a recent outdoor event on a big 1/8 outdoor track I dialed in some turbo to run with the 4 polers and still had good temps. I have to work a little harder sometime's but I can still get it done.

I disagree. That mouthpiece for Fastlaps (those crooks) totally had it coming a couple of pages back.

Oh duuuuuuh to me. I spent over an hour playing with shimming the planetary gears to no fix, only to put it back together so I can get some laps on the track again finally. Never thought of an extra spacer under the sun gear. I guess I'll pull it back out after practice tonight. Did you have to add a shim to both gears, or just one side?

See how your times compare to Dakotah's. He is pretty fast with his Losi and it should give you an idea of how the mods are working compared to the competition.

I did. Until you got arrogant and outright incorrect. Reap what you Sow, Tigerlilly.

So, we're in a census that the gears 'in' the diff are stripped up and skipping. Well it's worth a shot. Thanks guys.
