32 pitch with a 5mm shaft depending on what motor your running (normally in a 550 size motor) or for a 540 can, just a normal 32 pitch will do unless you are running the new tekin motor.

How long of heats/mains do you run? I've thought about doing that also.

I would, in no paticular order... Drill your own top shaft, build your own brace and order the MTK basket.....

I think's fine to pay someone who enjoys doing the drilling and what not while you focus on the things that you enjoy.

I only have limited time for the hobby and I prefer bolting on parts, painting bodies, etc. more than doing a lot of dremeling and drilling, however I am doing the pin mod tonite (if I don't get pulled in to a battle field 3 game).

I have a problem with my esc fans getting "jarred" to death after a run or so and not working anymore. ANyone have a suggestion to a rugged esc fan? I've went through three SP fans so far.

Here's my layout if it helps.

If you want I would suggest buying some lexan at the local hobby shop and cut it to fit the front end of the chassis. And use strong servo tap to hold it on and secure it to the lip of the chassis. You wont need it really high just as tall as your wheels are.

I did this when I had a slash 4x4 it went through a hole season without it coming off or me having to replace tbe servo tape.

The next thing would be to buy the under cover made by AE. It will keep out all the debry. But the lexan will be cheaper and if you are not worried about keeping the truck perfectly clean I would try the lexan.
