Hey guys, Im rebuilding my diffs, and have noticed that the brass inserts are severly worn out. So, I ordered up hotracings sc10 4x4 hard anodized diff cases. I should have them by next tuesday. I'll take some picks of the quality, fit, and finish of the part. Hopefully the will last longer than the stock ones:)

It's been a while since I've posted in this thread and need to do so in regards to our o-rings.
As some of you know you are waiting on a back order that is seemingly taking forever and here is the reason: We initially ordered 500 sets and ran out. Then another 500 sets (only 500 not knowing if Assoc. would catch on) and ran out of those. On reorder before those ran out we were told it would take about 3 weeks. Well that has come and gone. We were then told 10/15-20. Then the very next day we received an email saying that they already shipped and they need payment. (Mind you this is Taiwan.....) So of course I emailed back and asked for my shipping info. Blah blah, So long story (and it is long) short. We are now in the process of ordering them from an American company BUT they will be a little more expensive. Those who have ordered and have back orders will be given the same price no problem AND those who wish to back order some please do so on the site as normal we will hold the pricing until the end of the month. ETA right now is up in the air, but from discussions it looks like the end of November. I greatly apologize we are actually having "molds" made for our o-rings. They will not be a standard part number off of the shelf. And for those with AE/Tamiya & Losi Buggys & Trucks we are working on those fitments as well. Please feel free to contact us at [email protected] |

FT?
This was just posted on the AE website
"Romania racers recently held their first-ever Short Course 4WD race. FxModells and FxRacing team driver Manolache Ovidiu won the honor of being the champion of this debut event! He used his Team Associated SC10 4x4 FT powered by Reedy LiPo batteries to propel him to the top podium. Thanks to FxModells and FxRacing for this good news. And congratulations to Manolache Ovidiu for his victory!" Notice the FT, I wonder if this means we will be seeing a picture soon of a FT version, hmmmmmm |

No offense to the Romanian R/C, but do you think AE is going to send one of the first FT SC10's 4x4 over there?

I was expecting it but still a little surprised to find a bent front CVD.

I have a few bent ones myself and just got the shinny ones to replace them. I will see if they are better and post up.
Btw, tomorrow Ima do a completely new chassis stiffener. One like no one has ever done (or that I know that's been posted lol). It's a regular brace BUT comes with a surprise. Maximum simplicity, maximum strength, minimum weight. No carbon parts. Only two screws and an aluminium tube. You'll see ;) |

I guess, I want it to be the simplest possible.
Aluminium over carbon because it is stiffer. I also have 5mm ID tube that is lighter than the 5mm ID carbon tube. Plus I requiere no additional components if I use alu tube. I would need threaded cups, ball ends, and so on if I went carbon route. Plus it is so much stiffer that I can even bolt the belt cover onto it and it'll still be completely straight. You guessed right, I bent my belt covers :/ AE needs to come up with a solution for this. EVERYONE bends their covers. |
Is it me or do you have to almost give the truck away if you are wanting to sell it. Is there something in the works or just not a wanted truck anymore?
