I havent been around in a while so forgive me if this has been asked
Does the non-hard pack turnigy lipo from hobby king fit in this truck? My hard case turnigys wouldn't fit. I've set my RC stuff aside for about 4 months and I'm just starting to get everything cleaned up for the season. Its been 110+ here for a few months I want to buy the truck and use my old castle Sidewinder for a while. I know some people arent a fan of cheap batteries, but I'm using an old well used motor and esc for the time being Thanks |

Go figure, his Venom 5000 30C was fine. |

Sidewinder won't last long, and the Turnigy batteries don't survive.

65k is to high IMO, most people are running between 20-30k front, I personally run 10k for now and will try out 20k+ but no higher then 30K..........5k to 7k in the rear is good.......

Starting with 30k in the front would be a better starting spot. 5 to 7 in the rear.

Try the gens ace lipos. They fit fine.

Any ROAR Legal 2S will fit fine. Even if it's a couple mm longer, higher, or wider, it will still fit. You'll have to remove the foam though.

The reason for the thicker fluid in the front is to settle down the front end. If you have driven the truck before, you would know what I'm talking about. This tuck is very responsive to steering inputs. The thicker fluid tames it down a bit. But dont worry, the truck still has plenty of steering left. Im running 30k front and 7k in the rear, and still have to dial my dual rate on my transmitter to 75%
