I'm wondering how a aluminum center section chassis would work on our truck? Weight would be a little heavier, centered, possibly stiffer but it would still have some flex. It would be interesting to see how it would work...I'm thinking it would work pretty good . Ok machinist guys...I hope you see this post! :D

with the basket I bet you'd clear the quad  i heard you half way through say the truck changed that you thought the batteries shifted. i always had some kinda thoughts halfway through my races, maybe battery was dying or truck feels slow out of corners etc etc. ended up being my slipper. bought the basket and wowzers. no pad fade.

I can clear it now but its iffy with the whole parachute body, I have zero slip, but would like to try the clutch basket someday, I've heard good things, will definitely get one for indoor racing.

Besides the clutch basket and the trackstar o-rings, is there any other aftermarket items that really help this truck out?

Is anyone using a LRP 540 motor in there 4X4? I used it when i first got it and it got to hot for me to continue using it, but i just sent it to LRP and told then to make it usable for my truck. he 540 5.5 was alot faster and seemed smoother than the 550 4.5 i use now.
