Interesting..I measured with a digital caliper and straight edge across the back side of the wheel, 3mm difference between stock and DE XXX-SCT rear.
I need to recheck tonight!!

I know the Kyosho truck with the AKA wheels needs to almost be hammered into the tech box.
Widening the track width is the cheapest way to lower the CG!

They are wider indeed.

Thinking about getting a set with some Proline Trenchers once my rear stockers wear (not anytime soon, this things are DAMN hard!! I wonder if AE used wood to dmold them )

By the way, just serving as info. The Savox 1251 is plenty enough for the truck, just mounted mine.
Problem with it is, it is too short to fit onto the stock servo mount blocks.
Solution? Get a spare lower cover, cut a small piece of the side and re-route the wire to exit from the cover and not from the side. Seal the box with watever you prefer, I used a rubber o-ring and some electrical tape cut in proper width in order not to completely cover the heatsink.

Ah, and the wire is pleeenty long to reach the box.

Why did I mod my 1251 instead of getting a 1257? Because I got it for real cheap, around 25% cheaper than retail.

DE does not make a special wheel yet. I was just looking at the wheels that are made now to see if one is already that off-set. Turns out this is something special that Jconcepts made for Mayfield,BK, and the AE/Jconcepts team for the SC10. Now that they won again we all need to have this wheel off-set right?

If I could find a set to run I would like to test run them to see if its noticeable better. Lower CG is something we all have been chatting about so it might help. For right now I will test the DE xxxt-sc wheel and see if I can tell a difference.

Savox 1251 fits great in mine, no problems. I was stripping servos until I loosened up the servo saver.

i think im going to throw a 4mm washer or two on top of each hex to test the wider stance. not the best solution, but i do have serrated nuts....

The ones for the rear xxxt-sc (2w truck) are somewhat wider that the stock sc10 4w wheels. The only thing you need to be careful about is that the rim is thicker also so the axle might not be long enough to get in the nylock part of the wheel nut. I don't physically have the wheels yet; the info I have is what I have been told by Dave at DE Racing so I am going to do some testing when I get a couple of sets to play with.

I have stockers and DE wheels, I'll post up pics of measurements tonight. I've been running the DE wheels for 2 months now, I swear I feel a difference over stock wheels.

Been using the Blitz offset wheels with Barcodes since I got my SC10 4x4.
I stole them from my Blitz and has stayed with the SC10 4x4 ever since - lol.
Definately wider than the stock AE wheels.
I ended up using a blitz body and modifed the body post holes.
When using the AE body on the Blitz wheels, the wheels stick out about 4-5 mm on each side.
But with the Blitz body, its tucked in.

I tried my AE wheels but prefer the Blitz offset.
I may use the AE body and trim the wheel wells and make it fit. Looks kind of funny though with the wheels so wide - lol.
