I dremeled out the wall in front of the motor to run the wires. Gave me enough room to cram a castle fan in there and only has an 1/8" air gap where it hangs off the end of the motor, but I think I'll go with a heat sink instead. There's a little over an inch of bare can showing. I don't like fans if I don;t need, extra wiring plus crap to break, and harder on the BEC.

Does anyone want my tekno hexes? I think I want to go for the FT ones instead. These are nip with shims and pins plus an extra set of traxxas pins, $15.

to the guys who have their receiver way up front close to the servo. where do you leave your antenna wire ?

im using a 15t pinion, and the odd thing is the temps seem to vary from day to day, sometimes 140ish up to 180 after 10-15 min.

Does anyone know where I can buy a heat sink for my LRP SXX Comp V2 Speedo? I wasn't sure if there was any replacement heatsinks for the TC Spec that were available.

I'm planning on running my LRP Comp V2 with a Trinity 4x4 5.5 550. Thanks.

Would this be it? https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com/c...ns&pn=LRP82700

I was told that package was made for the Sphere, and was too big for the SXX. Thanks for looking out.:D

Thanks a ton. Do you happen to know what gearing he was running? I will be running on a medium indoor track and a nice size outdoor loamy track.

Do you know where I can get the heatsink and fan for the LRP. I've searched around a little, and can't seem to find one that's not for the motor.

The D3 is nice. I run 13/62 w/my SC4X 4.5 and a 14 outside on a large track. My V1 throttle profile was 5. I have a V2 TC Spec coming...plugged my V1 in backwards :( It looks like guys are running a throttle profile of 2 or 3. The V1 and V2 have different settings.

Are you guys saying the Belt tensioner pulley (91013) has a front and back? I have mounted my front one both ways with no issues.

I am going to guess the guys with belt issues are running the clicker locked? I use the clicker and have not had any issues racing

murky123: I use the blitz antenna mount in that spare hole in between the front chassis and the mid chassis

Anyone have a good base set-up for a tight, loamy track, with many small bumps? I've looked on the AE site, but nothing really matches for this truck

Mac The Knife 07-20-2011 02:16 PM

Walt Henderson's setup on the AE site should get you into the ballpark.

Cameron Kellogg 07-20-2011 03:05 PM

AE shows stock on the FT shock kits and all the springs. :D

Keeferton 07-20-2011 03:21 PM

I'm having a hard time justifying spending $9 on shipping to order a $5 spring, let alone $130 for front and rear shocks that probably wont make my truck handle any better.

Can anyone explain the performance difference between the stock and FT shocks one would see?
