Looks like I might be picking up a factory team sc10 4x4 for $125. I'm going to cannibalize the shocks and other factory team exclusive hardware. Put them on my sc10 4x4 with just rebuilt diffs making it a factory team but saving me the trouble of rebuilding unknown diffs. Also having to switch my rpm arms and exotek chassis/hub and other upgrades lol. Plus now I have a complete spare trucks.

I have one for sale for same price :) LMK if that deal doesn't work out (I saw the thread).

lol, I occasionally look ove the for sale threads. If I ever see a deal I cant passup, I might try the sc10 4x4 again, lol. I am like a moth to the flame when it comes to AE, lol.

Likewise lol! I'm getting rid of my b44 though for a Cougar Cat k1... but my LHS is running a special on the b44.2 trying to rebuild the class so I'm torn.. 340 NIB!!! :O:O:O

Anyways, the deal I got on my new roller was ridiculous... Absurd even.. I had to buy it!

SC10 FT 4x4 Roller
Exotek Chassis (no scratches, looks brand new)
Saddle pack Exotek battery straps
Exotek thumb screws
FT blue screws for the shock pins
Spektrum 6020 servo
new hyperion swift 30c 6000mah saddle pack
a bunch of NIP spare parts

175$... seriously... I love this site. Dont get me started on the other deal I got for parts for it! hahaha I love that ppl hate these things, or are too lazy to learn to drive them.

I would have bought it too. I am looking for a good condition FT with exotek chassis and maybe an extra. If I find it, I will buy it.

Wow dude!
Why don't you go start a thread called "how much I hate this truck" you an the trolls can have a frenzy over there. Everybody wins in the end!

Wild Cherry 03-27-2013 09:43 AM

SC10
Winning YOUR local & big races proves to everyone the real value .......

Wildcat1971 03-27-2013 09:44 AM

well he is not completly wrong ryan. the general population hates these trucks, but on the upside, you can get them very cheap, lol. I dont race on a track liek you guys have, thus I would want ALL of the tuning options to play.

Wild Cherry 03-27-2013 09:49 AM

Ryan , when ever someone blames the truck for their poor performance ?

Just feel sad for them and do your best to help um out ..:D

meantime ?

I'll post some troll repellant...:batman:

So with summer coming I keep thinking about outdoor racing. I keep hearing about the sc10 4x4 not really being a "outdoor" truck for racing...this will be on a 8th scale track. So should i just put the sc10 on the back burner for indoor racing and get a Tekno for outdoor....or just sell the sc10 and put the Tekno on double duty?

I really like my sc10 an all, I just dont wanna destroy it on an outdoor 8th scale track.

Any input would be awesome....just no comments like..."the truck sucks or it's worthless" yada yada.

I know both trucks have their pros and cons....just need some insight.

thanks-

Ill give you the advice that I wish I got unless you get paid to drive rc cars for a living you will have a hard time being competitive with this truck on a large outdoor track don't listen to the guys who only drive on small indoor tracks.

I does not do great on outdoor low bite tracks. I know some people are going to say it is great everywhere, but most of those people never even raced on the tracks with issues. I dont think you will destroy the truck, it is pretty durable. And there are some things you can do to mitigate some of the the issues, weight, mc2 rear block, I liked "push" configured on the esc/radio and the exotek chassis would be nice with the weight added down low. Some people said that the saddle packs helped a lot on outdoor as well. Also, there is the rcshox Cdiff to help with front to rear power transitions. But, you might end up spending the price of the tekno on your current ride. Losi has the new 2.0 scte which is supposed to be nice as well. It really just comes down to how much cash and effort you want to put in.
