Also ordered me the new Slipper from AVID .....

Most of my teammates are using now ....

So your previous post about "backward springs, aftermarket slipper pads....." was a lie. Last time I checked Avid was an aftermarket company and their slipper uses their own pads. All I'm really getting at is that you ruin this thread for people that are just trying to make their truck better.

I am picturing little kids bickering back and fourth over a TOY....Or even worse Grown men bickering back and fourth about a TOY...lol!

Anyways...I am still having a flawless great time with my SC10 4x4! Its by far my favorite truck and it never lets me down!

JEFFs SC10 09-02-2012 01:20 PM

What's the Avid slipper about?

The Avid slipper looks the same as the VTS only smaller, how can less surface area be better, what does it do that's better than the VTS?
I've successfully fitted the VTS in my X6 with great results.

Beaten by the above post!
Still don't see why you would remove a VTS and fit one.

Less rotating mass is the only advantage I can see.

All he said was mayfield did it without. Didn't say anything bad about the product. Just that rm did a good job with his stock kit.
Just saying.. play nice people no need to bully and gang up.

Will these fit on the rear of the 4x4 for the 8mm mod?
Lots of different positions.

So just leave it alone. You are here as a rep of your product. If he wants to bad mouth your product there is 10 more people offering testimonials about how it has helped them. Let's not worry about WC, we know that he lives and breathes AE...that's good for him.

Good advice here

[QUOTE=Matt Trimmings;11164490]He seems to think so and i would just rather have everyone drop it so we can talk about the truck[/QUOTE

Will be endorsing the hell out of the AVID slipper system now ....

Matt , you got a Sc104x4 too ?

Their Triad slipper pads are the main reason why I am giving the AVID a try ....

Who's bulling or ganging up? the tone of his post sounded like a slam to me :ha:, IMHO, people are entitled to their opinions.
