Has anyone tried the Yeah Racing upgrade parts?
http://www.rcmart.com/yeah-racing-fr...0-p-35019.html They have a few good aluminum parts for this kit. Was thinking about getting them. |

For the rear toe block, skip yeah racing and look at the M2C part thats adjustable. I'm going to pick up the hot racing front steering blocks to see if I can get rid of some of the slop. When I say slop, it's not as bad as the scte, but still more than I like. Hot racing does not make the best stuff, but it's worth a try. http://www.hot-racing.com/index.cgi?...SCF21G01;c=617 |

grit? I run a slight toe in the front and the 3-2 block in the rear. It your looking for it to pull harder from the front, you can try exotek front locker or the rc shocks diff. the exotexc is a cheaper option at around $10-12. I also liked a lower bite tire up front. I actually ran the kit tires up front and proline snipers in the rear. Most of my issues came from the front having too much traction. The RCShox diff is supposed to help with that also on loose tracks.

The belt tensioner looks like a good part.

Howdy, I have been running the SC10 4x4 for about 4 weeks. I run on an outdoor track that is pretty loose. I am having trouble with tight turns. Specifically powering through them with a tight line. Should I be running the same tire all around? Maybe a heavier pin in front? Any advice would be appreciated.
If you don't mind me asking, taking into account you did your homework BEFORE you got the SC104X4, and for a outdoor loose track, (like I race on) why did you buy the SC10 over the other trucks on the market? I have a love hate relationship with this truck, but knowing what I know now I would have never bought it over a year ago, it is a very very solid truck and I'm getting it to were I'm competitive on large outdoor tracks, and I have broken nothing, ever. All the info you will ever need is in this thread, it can be hard to find with the search function at times, but your problem is a very common one. |
Has anyone had problems with the belt coming off the front pulley under power? It completely ruined my night last night, I couldn't finish either qualifier or the race.
Belt came off about five times, while under power. I dont know for sure if it was related to jumping, as *almost* every time it happened I noticed it after landing. once was on the gravel, I test drove it and all was well until I put some pressure on it. |

readjust belt tension replace homemade chassis brace with Ae brace ck rear motor mount see if improperly installed on chassis I'd check you don't have the tension pulley around the wrong way, if it is it can slide out and flip the belt off, I did it once, no need to replace anything, mine's never done it again. |
