Before the track that day I put in a brand new pinion and spur since I traded motors......... And I adjusted the mesh several times, even had my friend do it since his sc10 4x4 was freaking quiet compared to mine. I believe it might be what Jake suggested with the idler gear needing replacement. But we'll see what happens after I tear it down completely and redo everything and give it a full car wash so to speak.......

Oh and my rear is set to mid and the front is set to one notch up above the mid to make it a little looser....

cool. when I replaced my spur and pinion ir was really quiet for like 1 5 minute race. lol. I think the torque being applied to the spur wears it quickly. Does jc make a silent spur for the sc104x4? in 32 pitch?

What can be done to reduce roll over? I have 2 sc10 4x4, 1 is older version and can be driven hard into the corners. New Factory Team rolls over easily. Same tires swapping back and forth.

Oh and I might be in Vegas next week (Fri/Sun) so I might check out the track there, if not I may head back to WCRC I had a blast there......

I too have a very noisy SC10 compared to the others. Keep us posted on what you figure out! I'm new to this 4wd SC thing so your topic is one of my first concerns.

Did you make the belt tighter or looser, and same adjustment on both ends?

Raising the inside ballstud will make the truck roll more as it lowers roll center.

Compare setups between both trucks and report back what is different.

Weight under the spur and under the servo kinda right side to balance the motor maybe up on pinon a tooth and bump uP oils in da shocks braddah
Basically the exact opposite of that...

Going up in diff fluid will make the two tires more "locked together" so that would only make the truck spin more easily. Raising the front ballstud would lower the front roll center and make the truck softer in the front and would only make the problem worse.

Raise the rear inner ballstud to increase rear traction.
