I need to move my receiver away from my esc. there seems to be an interference issue. I know some people said drill a hole and CA an antennae in... yeah, kinda ghetto for me. I am looking for a mount that I can use and make a clean install with. I will probably mount it on the left front of the chassis. There is a screw hole there that looks like it is counter sunk and ready to go. I have seen a few people mount it there, but was never sure who made the mount. I could also use this one, I would just need to mark and drill 3 holes.

Looking for a few ideas here.

I was looking at the pics of his truck on the bigrc site. Whats that gold bling to the left and right of his servo? Weight?

Brass chassis weighs, off a tc6 I think.

When I ran a 550 motor, I ran 1 1/2 oz of tungsten in the same spot.

Does anyone know if BK ever posts his setups anywhere? Someone once told me he does not post them , because they are crazy complicated. And can often be seen using self customized parts.

Not really complicated for the Sc4x4, will post set-up later for everyone...

craig , 2 1/4 oz on the ft end , no weight else where..

I wonder if they require polishing to go fast. Wow 4oz by the servo, seems crazy. His truck must steer like mad crazy

why is there a lack of videos of sc10 4x4's on large out door tracks ? i heard a "rumor" from some losi guys that its because AE doesnt want to use the truck outside on large tracks ...

just curious.

What do you mean? I have seen home made videos. If you mean national events, then I dunno, a lot of races are done indoors these days because weather wont effect you. Nothing like planning an event for months and getting rained out.

I think he wants an outdoor video on a large 8th scale track.

Wildcat1971 07-02-2012 12:39 PM

so why would you add 4oz of weight up front in a truck that is already turns like mad.
