I'm currently pushing 62/14, 4000kv, diff v2, and 6 pins. I'm going to a large outdoor track and was looking to drop my 4600 and was looking for a safe pinion to start and so tips. My truck has never touched dirty strictly clay.

Tenshock 411 4600kv with 62/13. About all I change is a little taller ride height for outdoor. If it's really blowout, I will go up 5wt in shock oil.
You may want to run 5 pin, I'm 6 in and 5 outdoor. May go up to 7 indoor just to see what its like again, but that's off topic.

Well, I also have a center diff from rcshox on the way as I cannot resist trying it any longer because of all the rave reviews you all are giving it.

On a side note, Marcus is a pleasure to deal with. Communication is top notch. I sent him a number of PM's and he answered them all promptly.

Thanks Marcus!

These are why my the lap times have improved..

VTS Slipper
Ae chassis brace ( stiffer than my homemade brace)
8mm rear hub mod
Team steering rack ( really improves the feel & steering response)
JConcepts pressure points tires
Kody's latest JConcept set-up
RPM arms
JConcept High Flow body
Reedy 4.5 550
Team Li-po tray ( stiffer chassis)

IRM

indoor hard smooth clay, med traction
right now only running indoor till after Scotty Ernests Show Down Trcr is hosting June 9th..

After will buy some out door tires and plan on a visit or two at some our better N/w outdoor .....:batman:

They been seeing 20 to 30 Sc4x4 showing up easy...

Oasis , 8mm mod helps on the high speed turns & sweeps , fewer traction rolls...

I was wondering what the 8mm rear hub mod is?
Is it raising the roll center? I have the taller mount on the rear hubs (4mm) I have the 12mm rear ball cup and I have 4mm on the ball cup (raising the height 4mm) so all in all 8mm..is this what your talking about?

Just know it works so good a beginner can tell right off the improvement in handling...

use Ae Carbon C hub tab for B4.1

pic has 5mm inside stud , use longer 10mm stud to go 8mm

I didn't get much sleep...brain is even slower than normal-slow...

I see this is some sort of a modification of ball joints at connecting rod ends?
This improves handling?
More info?

5pin?
6pin?
7pin?

I'm not familiar with this. Is it shock position?

He is referring to the number of pins in the center diff.
