Hartson and Numedahl are 1 and 2 at Mike's Hobby Shop in 4wd SCT.
Marcus is #10. Hartson is TQ in 3 classes, dude's on fire. Kody's is TQ in 2wd SCT. I think the AE boys are looking to make a statement. Wish I could watch the races live. |
Man, it's been peaceful and quiet in this thread for quite some time...Good info for sure, without the chest thumping at that!

Many thanks

When I ran the MTK basket I liked 20/5 for our outdoor track. If you have extra front springs you may want to try white or blue front springs on the rear and go up to 30wt. It will jump better and have better on power steering. I run my ride height at 24 to 23 mm. Helps stability in big sweepers and high speed turns. Have you spaced up the inner ball studs of the camber links? if not try 4mm front and rear.

Different spring rate, they are much stiffer and equalize the f/r wheel rate.

Definitely get blue front springs for the rear. Depending how technical the track is , go 10/5 or 20/5
I encourage you to get a center diff. Thanks again! |
I just purchased the hi-tec hs-4646water proof servo for my sc4x4 and the wire from the servo to the receiver comes out of the side of the servo getting in the way of the servo mount . any ideas on how to get around this or should i just return it and get another sevo? and what type of servo do you recommend? trying to stay around $50.
thanks |
For those wondering how the diff mod with the extra bearing holds up I can say it's worth it. I had close to 10 hours run time on my front diff and it was still a 1/4 full. Action was still good but I new the oil would be nasty. Cleaned it refilled it. No significant wear on the bushing. Just replaced the seals on the outdrive and called it good. Even the washer under the sun gear was fine. I'll probably have to wear out the teeth on diff housing before replacing it.
now to read up some more on that Durango I have coming :) |

Just want to say thanks for the info. I am back in love with my truck this weekend....lol. I set the truck up per you guys recommendations and ... WoW. It was awesome. But I only had 2mm of spacers for the ball studs. I have some on order to try the 4mm. If the center diff and 2stage pistons will make it even better, then I am in for them..
Thanks again! |
Is there a thread somewhere that has the mods listed? 1430 or so pages is a lot.
