I'm sitting in second right now only to Dakotah Phend at the TLR shootout with my v1.5 center diff equipped rig. If it weren't for lapped traffic 'losi-ing' me once I'd only be 4 seconds back.

The market is there .
If that were the case then the Tekin drivers would be running that setup in their 1/8 scale buggies but they run the T8 motor and 4s in their 1/8 scale buggies
I think you would be pushing the limits of the Pro 4 on 2s in an 1/8 scale.

Well maybe someone can develop a lighter platform while using the drivetrain and suspension. But yes I do understand.

The SC8 can turn and its the same thing practically..

Default Back to the SC10 4x4

Here are some pictures of the outdoor track and results from last week. My SC10 4x4 felt great and I was able to run tight lines when I had to.

I'm trying to! lol.

Round 3 is over with no gain. It's rocket round and we both went 4-5 seconds faster. I think I'm the only AE in the A. My only wish at the moment is to be able to do the short run up triple. With the center diff I'm faster everywhere else, but I can't hit the triple. The clutch basket with garodisks can put enough power down for to clear it, but is sketchier everywhere else.

Chris,
Sorry I couldn't make it down there today. J-Dub that is running down there in 4x4 SC is also another team driver and good friend of mine. Too bad he runs a Losi

When I get my SC10 4x4 FT I am going to need some help getting it dialed

I'm fairly sure you can.

But forget Rick's interpretation, show me where in the ROAR rules it's not legal.

There is a RCTech user who built one on an RC8E platform that weighed in at 6 pounds 7 ounces.

If you don't think it's a good idea, don't build one.

Just like the media you only quote what you want to read not my entire post or posts.
I have driven a electric 1/8 and every 1/10 scale 4wd truck in the market and they are very different, so I do have some experience on the differences between the two.
Even if you get the weight of the platform down you still have to move the larger drive train components. This alone will work a 2s system more than the smaller drive train components on the current 1/10 scale production trucks on the market.
I have two spare RC8 buggies and a spare RC8T ready for me to build a SC8 or smaller 4wd SC if it was something I thought I could race in my area. For now my current SC10 4x4 works great.
I have seen the conversions (many of them came out before the SC10 4x4 was on the market) and its not that I don't like the idea but your post stated that AE could release a 1/10 shaft driven short course truck by slapping a short course body on a RC8.2. Its just not as compact and nimble as the current trucks on the market today. Thats all

no one can give you an exact answer to that, you need to set them on the track. Should slip about 4' or so from a stand still.
Start loose and tighten as needed.
