SC10 4x4 Thread
Is anyone using an extra washer under the sun gear in the diffs to stop leaks? Mine are fairly new, but started to leak a little after 2 race days and notice some extra movement (not tight). There is still plenty of fluid in the diffs. Would you recommend the extra washer or not?

I've been following this thread and reading up a bunch on these forums. I pre-ordered my factory team kit and I look forward to putting it together with my 10yo son. Currently we bash an E-Revo brushless and a Slash 4x4. Lots of mods on the Slash and durability mods on the ERBE (aka replacing broken parts with aluminum/steel/RPM).
With the SC10 I'm looking to race at a local track with my son. It's a tight track with modest jumps so I feel the SC10 was a good choice vs the Losi SCTE. Don't plan on doing a lot of winning right away, but it seems like a lot of fun and something my son and I can get into together.
Anyway, got the shipping confirmation from tower and I've got a 4 day weekend coming up starting Wednesday.
Thanks to all the knowledgeable posters who have added to this thread. I feel like I'm going to hit th ground running with my new truck!

Not yet. I am running a Savox 1258TG servo. The receiver, esc, cap, servo, motor, sensor harness, and batteries are all brand new so I'm going to start replacing one thing at a time by process of elimination. I will post what I find if I find the solution.

The turnigy's are pretty good fresh, but one of the two sets I bought is coming down with kick-start syndrome where to start off a heat I had to have one of the marshals kick my truck to get it moving while the other pack works fine down last few mins before LVC.
I got some of the 90c Orions on the way. Only place I could find them was on ebay and I didn't notice they were being shipped out of hong kong. For the $5 I paid in shipping I don't expect to see them anytime soon.

Glad to see you guys are getting your FT SC10's, I thought about buying it and selling my current one (actually had it up FS on here for a day or two) but honestly all the hard work I've put into this one (with the help of everyone on here, especially Mantis for all his hard work), I just couldn't let it go...... I'm interested to see how their new version of the clutch basket works, so for those of you that have bought one can post up your opinions on it would be great. I may just pick up another one down the road as a backup........
