Wow that place is huge, that looks fun! You are very fortunate to have a track like that to race at. :)

yeah, i cant see which vid you posted, but if the layout has the huge 'step-down' jump in the middle with the words SEND IT on the side, thats the latest and greatest, recently update.. Track was narrower before. Triple-double on the back stretch is a breeze to clear (i alwas slightly overshoot the triple part of it), which is why im thinking about switching to 540can... i think thats the gnarliest we will ever see on the space provided...

And yes, im very fortunate to have such a fun place to play.. its been years since SanDiego has had a nice indoor track.. We had one of the greatest back in the day that spawned quite a bit of national level talent.. im sure SDRC will bring a few more.

The additional front droop is to make it turn center off.

No dig against Kory, but I watched the video, and IMO Ryan's truck was much better. He was gone on the first start, but the RD decided they needed to do it over and Cav got molested (bad) by a guy with a Losi before he got 10 feet off the grid.

Kody and Ryan were both very fast at the Spektrum race. In general Ryan's setups are usually a little easier to drive Jason finds.

We , as Scott Brown , Mike Schoettler & I are gona put the mojo on Sc 10 4x4 set-up this next week ....

This means many hours of practice and experimenting....

Will report as we go a long ....

For what surface? Indoor clay?

Indoor clay setups for this truck aren't the hard part, it's bigger outdoor/loose/bumpy stuff that's hard. :)

I was surprised to not see a chassis brace on Scotts truck at the Rumble. His belt was acting like ABS on hard stops. The truck performed very well as a whole.

I don't remember, was he running a 540 motor?

Set-up should perform great on those so called big tracks...

All the set-up work were doing will be for preparing for the 1st stop of the SC Showdown hosted by Scotty Ernst .

Yeah, RC Excitement is smooth indoor clay.

I'll be at the SC Showdown at Mike's in Dallas. It was a lot of fun last year.

Cain 02-16-2012 10:09 AM

So what do you consider WC a good standard setup to go with if different than what you sent?

Marcus, thanks for the fast shipping. Just received my Garodiscs. If using the MTK slipper basket, does the disc with the larger center hole go on the inside of the basket?

I'd guess it's the same as this one (I'm using this one with the triple Garodisc):

Looks like the same basket. 1 of the garodiscs has a bigger center hole. I am assuming it is the 1st one in the basket?
