I tried the Slash 4x4 sway bar and it's nowhere even close to being able to fit.

Slippage issue

I called AE today. They said they would send me the slipper thrust spacer 91090 free. These were poorly machined and are short, which makes it impossible to tighten the slipper. I know there was 3 or 4 guys on here having issue like i was. Just call them.949-544-7500 and go to customer service.

Has anyone tried this for a sway bar. http://www.dynamiterc.com/Products/D...ProdID=DYN7909

Kind of pricey I thought but it looks like the mounting holes might eve line up on the blue bracket. It's blue too. lol

Anyone else notice that instead of moving the ballstud, swap the tie rod and the camber link? When I built it by the book, I had alot of camber and the toe was way off. Checked the book several times and was built right, and then decided to swap the two. Fixed both issues. Maybe a a misprint?

same with my build either the book is wrong or im an idiot but after i swapped them it was alot better camber and toe . i did have to make some minor adjustments but nothing to major . Rick

Yes, ThunderbirdJunkie did, but that is a subject for a whole 'nuther forum.

The manual doesn't say to grease the transmission gears. (page 10 and 12). That's why I asked. I didn't put any grease on them gears.

t4mania 05-19-2011 12:23 PM

It is a misprint & you hit the fix on the head..

Nope, didn't mention it in the book. Plastic gears are suppose to be self lubricating so you shouldn't need it.

I had the 4 pole geared with 16/62 and was temping at 150ish at the track. Hopefully it doesnt rain tomorrow and I can try out the 2650. The 2650 gets up to speed quick and so far the truck likes the extra weight. Well see what the track thinks... The current setup on the 2650 got to a wopping 79 degrees, with any luck I can get the smaller spur and run a 20 tooth pinon. I had the 2650 laying around and figured I couldnt let all the losi guys have all the fun without at least trying.

Hey YZ I am running the 1415 2400 kv and I had to gear up slot I found that the spur gears for the RCGT2 are perfect fit I have a 58 spur and a 20 T pinion on it. I'll let you know on how it runs tonite

The shock tower ball studs go on the outside so that's why your camber is off.
