I LOVE THIS TRUCK!!!!

oh and i got my temp issues figured out, after 8-9 mins motor temp is @ 140-145 with a 19t pinion.

For comparison I run a 20t MMP/1415 and never get above 130...90+ degree days. On 2s 40c 5000mah.
What gearing were you running again when you had high temps?

Gearing was the same, ive run 19t and 21t.
It got to about 165 with either. The problem was yhe default settings on the mmp, had to bring timing to the lowest setting, and brought punch control up to medium.
Still having a problem with lvc kicking in with the pack at 7v

Are you hitting LVC before you get to 7V's? You might be pulling enough juice with that motor to cause the MMP to spike the pack below LVC and cut out early.

Default SCTE

OK, so here is the setup we ran this weekend. Thanks to Casper for shrinking it for me and to Aaron for his help getting it dialed in.

The closest stock springs to what we ran would be gold up front and black in the rear.

Yes sometimes i do, yesterday messin around in the yard i hit lvc, plugged the pack in my charger and it read 7.142 volts.
This happens quite often, even with my punch control set on high. Ive tried the auto and 6v lvc settings and it doesnt make a difference.

I've always had that problem with the mmp even in the 2wd sc trucks I just turn off the lipo cut off and pay real close attention to what your putting back into your pack after every run. work your way a little at a time to you know you can't go any longer. I hope I don't get this problem with the RX8 as I don't beline I can turn the cutoff off, anybody know of a way to get it off, I seem to not be able to find a way to turn it off?
hopfully I won't be a problem, has anyone been having problems with this on the rx8?

Ryan & Casper, thanks for the help this weekend. The final changes I made for the Pro 4 main helped. I only wish I did them sooner as I was chasing my tail until I redid the shocks.. Made the A Main which was my goal with all you guys running ..

Thanks again and see you at Rnd 4.

Strange. I run normal to high timing and 0 punch control. I have never come close to 145 yet alone 165.
