Oh hell yeah, I have ran mine for 15min during practice with the 6000's! I got a few 6600's to try out now. You should be good to go!

I have the same batteries and run 8 minute mains no problem. 10 minutes would probably be pushing it, especially on a larger track.

Has anybody used the M2C rear adjustable toe block system? Any comments?

I've been using them for about 6 months and they are excellent. 4mm hinge pins and the blocks will not break like the Losi occasionally does.

I have been using them for a few weeks. Was using the optional Losi adjustable blocks and this is what I noticed.

M2C
4mm pins = stronger, but requires that you drill out the arms but drill is included
tapered hinge pins = less binding
Rear block offset so you can run stock or longer wheel base
Adjustable toe and anti-squat
Delrin inserts stronger than Losi hard plastic inserts

The tapered pins are good especially if you run a lot of toe. The way it works is as you add toe you spread the rear part of the arms outwards to add toe. This causes the hinge pins to also bend outward, since the pins are not tapered this spreading can cause the ends of the pin to bind in the insert, especially if you run a lot of toe.

M2C blocks, inserts, 4mm drill and 4mm hinge pins

M2C block is offset so you can add spacers to increase the wheelbase slightly.

M2C 4mm tapered pins vs stock Losi 3.5mm straight pins.

Here's a nubs question, when measuring front ride height do you measure the very front of the chassi or the lowest part of the chassis?

Savox 1258tg at my track. I also run a spectrum 6100.

Thanks for the comments on the M2C system. I am certainly going to get it. Not happy with the Losi.

Default 2 pole vs 4 pole question

Sorry if you guys are getting tired of all of my questions, but the answers have been greatly beneficial.

So far I bought the SCTE Ten, Changed the diff fluids, RPM arms and bumpers, Hitech 7954 servo (already had it) Tekin RX8 (had it too) and I ordered the TLR kit that should be here with in a few days.

There are no electronics in the truck at this time.

Run time is important to me, as this truck is just for fun. My son gets 25 min playing around in his stock slash 4x4 and I would get the same in my recently sold 8T 1550 combo.

I want the same with this truck.

I have been reading the 4 pole is a battery killer, 10 min runs? I was, on the track, getting 25 min runs in 1/8 with dual 6200 mah packs.

Should I stick to a 2 pole set up, like a traxxas brushless system, or should I just install the new pro 4 that I have sitting right next to me.

I know the pro 4 4000 is a great motor, but before I solder it up and loose the return ability of it, I want to make sure its not a "gas guzzler" (example)

Thanks

i am running that servo in my 8ight e - works great. ps - i thought it was overkill for an 1/8 ebug.

Doesn't matter what system you put in the truck if you are getting the same output (mph) in the same basic environment it's going to cost you the same mAH at a given voltage. Dial down the 4-pole power and you will get longer uptime.

If you don't plan on racing; Consider a 3s lipo and lower kv motor such as 3400, this will yeild better results and longer run times with out having to give up that extra speed/power.

If you make it to the track; for race days, stick w/ 2s 6000mah to 6800mah packs and def go w the 4pole motor.

Bashing days when you just want run times, run those dual 6200's in parallel and get that same amount of uptime as you do w/ the ebuggy. Though heavier weight = more chance of breakage. Keep in mind a 1/8 ebuggy isn't that much heavier than these scte's and we are running smaller power plants and lower voltage. This is the price we pay to stay in Roar (and most tracks) regs Always a trade off.
