I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the new rear bumper from RPM.

I like that one. Looks cool. But let's face it - it doesn't solve the two major problems with the SCTE rear bumper:

- the "weakness" of the bumper supports
- the fact that you have to remove the read bumper to work on some of the rear end.

I was hoping there would be more to it. Looks like it's just the actual bumper and not the mounts. Oh well.

4 screws and the entire bumper is off the truck? I'm not sure any rear bumper comes off easier short of not having a rear bumper..

EDIT: ohh sorry comment was on the other addon? my bad

I think it's been posted on every one of the last 5 or so pages.

Yeah, I noticed it had been posted a lot. Looks like a cool package. I have been eyeing those pistons but they make me a bit nervous. Casper and I ran with Matt this past weekend with him running this truck and it was very competitive. Casper whooped up on him and I was ahead by a bit until a lead came unsoldered off my battery. It looks clean though.

As for the new parts on Horizon, the issue has been addressed and they are now available and not showing as BO any longer, sorry about that.

Any positive reviews for any of the aluminum upgrades from ST Racing Concepts for the ten?

Go for the orion r10 pro and the 4600.I have both and the rx8 would cut out when i would overshoot a landing sometimes. It would work after about 5 seconds but by then the race was over for me.Ive since then installed the R10 and havent had a problem yet.Plus its a little bit smoother.

For what it is worth I race regularly against a guys running R10 pro/Pro-4 setup and he has less power and the R10 pro keeps kicking into sensorless mode. RX8 produces more power with this setup. 223 firmware makes the RX8 as smooth and controllable as anything else out there. RX8 is about $25 less as well.

Not sure what the cutting out thing is going on with your RX8. Contact Tekin.

For some reason the date has not updated as of yet but due to material out of stock issues and the supplier, we are looking at the end of May right now.

I am the guy with the R10/Pro 4 combo Mr. Casper is referring to and while I wait for the new software for the orion so it runs the Pro4 properly, I can attest to the performance difference.
