How about TRX connectors or Deans?
Appreciate your feedback,
thx,

EDIT: will it be warmer using same setup with 3s or 2s?
Which bullet connectors are you using? Some have more resistance and generate more heat than others. I've had good luck with the low profile 4mm connectors like these

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...nectors-4-Male

other connectors have melted my batteries, and some batteries with low C ratings and bad solder joints will just melt on their own.

3s will be much more efficient and run at lower temps. You will not need so much mah to get runtime. I ran 3s with a Castle 2600 kv motor for a long time and got 10 minutes on a large fast track with 4000 mah 45C 3s batteries.

On the same track with the Pro4 4600, I dump right around 8 minutes with my 6000 mah nano-techs.

would I get more top end with 2400Kv on 2s than 3s?
would these do?

Need some advice as I'm tired of second guessing.

There is a big smooth sweaper that the truck is on rails(so I think), then there is another that bumpy while making a left right before a 180 right. As going through that rough sweaper the front end is too bouncy and kind of hard to control.

Front set up is 32.5 oil with #4 piston emulsion style
Middle upper shock mount and out on the bottom side
Stock sway bay
Almost no droop

Edit.. I've had my de wheel for about a year mainly used in big tracks with no issues

You guys that are melting your packs , are you guys using the charging harness that comes with the pack to run your trucks ? If so then THAT is the reason your packs melted .

Do not use spring banana plugs for running your trucks as they do not fit tight enough and have a lot of resistance and will heat up like you guys described and from Feint Motions pic .

One thing i did notice about the DE is they are very squishy like the PL renegades, it wasnt an issue with the PL ones for me i hope it wont be an issue with these either. I was gunna start racing again indoors and was thinking either PL suburb 2.0 or aka rebars. Anyone have any feedback on the suburb 2.0's, does the wider contact patch help? Ill be running on a smooth clay track that if they leave it long enough blue groves up very nicley but they never really let it groove up nice cause they change it up pretty frequently.
Stock losi wheels are the best out there right now.Have ran into problems with both de and j con.Havent tried akas yet.

Yes 17mm hubs are the way to go.. Since most track run OPEN 4WD run 1/8 buggy on mine and have no problems with cracked wheels...

Yea it looked cool too when I went sideways into the sweeper and my wheel went shooting out. My truck was dialed and fast that lap too.
