Back the timing down from 10 to 0. But most importantly what pinion are you running?

Ive been running cheap china bullet connectors and have been getting battery temps of 117 ish with puffing on my nano techs 6000 so i just got the castle bullet connectors soldered on. They are super snug so hopefully this will solve my problems.

I have a question, I bought a used roller with the tlr tuning kit. I have been doing a complete rebuild to clean it up, and get used to the layout. I decided to replace the a-arms front and rear. I am now trying to replace the rear a-arms and cant get the pin out of the rear tlr rear hubs?! Is there something that I am missing, I removed the two nuts, but the hub seems locked onto the pin,s so iI cant slide it out to replace the a-arms. any help would be much apprecieated

Thanks!

Its becauae the pin is bent real bad, either get some vice grips and pull it out or pound it out but normally you have to get new hing pins and hubs

Ok I am making the switch from the AE. What does the truck weigh in at ready to hit the track? With the AE we are adding weight and with the losi you guys are taking weight off. I will be buying a new kit and the TLR tunning kit. Anything else needed?

Thanks

ok guys...Not to rekindle a fire but how soon do you think the TLR edition scte will be out? I think its coming because if you look at the part numbers for some of the hop ups for the truck they start with tlr, and others start with losb..

If we do decide to do something here, it would be some time. There are a few in front of the consideration of this.

We are moving parts that are racing style parts to the TLR brand to line up better though.

Also, I am not sure how others say they have done it but for the first time, my SCTE with painted body all ready to run is at 5.95 pounds. And boy did my setup have to change some.

My SCTE is still in basic ARTR form as far as chassis and upgrades with a MMP, CC BEC, Spektrum S6030, Fantom Fusion2 4.5, Futaba R2104GF receiver, amb transponder, 6200mah TrakPower, Proline Flotek, stock Losi wheels, Proline Snipers, HD outdrives, RC8 chassis brace, velcro'd nerf to body, and mine weighs in at 6.74 lbs. I plan on getting the TLR kit and Bump chassis or Jammin chassis. Might bring it just under 6.5 pounds.

Is there a small set screw in the bottom of the hub? I don't know about the TLR hubs, but a lot of the alloy hubs have a set screw to keep the pin from rotating and eating away at the aluminum.

Thunder Power 2s 5200 50c. Easily get 10+ min. on a medium-sized track. They aren't cheap, but I'm of the mind that you usually get what you pay for.
