-1. Chad's move was desperate and dumb, like an angry kid would make. Stewart didn't check because he never saw it coming.

You will get Red front and yellow rear springs (what most are running in rear motor). You will get the 4 deg block, which most run with the mid motor, may want to get the 3.5 for rear motor.

Also, the kit comes with steel tie-rods that are pretty strong but the titanium will be lighter and stronger still.

Hey Frank, you'll have to post your setup after you do some more testing with the mid-motor layout. I think the potential is there and would like to try that out initially. Thanks!

Just put one on order! But no Ti tie-rods as standard Oh well, can't wait to get my hands on it!!!

How does the weight distribution vary front to rear between the mid and rear setups?

Shouldn't TLR include different springs to accomodate those who want to try the mid-motor configuation or race on varying surfaces? If this is a racing kit, please deliver it with a couple of options for us racers.

I will be racing the 22 on different tracks that will need very different setups from one to another. (indoor carpet, outdoor 1/10 and 1/8 sizes not bluegroove)

Come on guys, it won't kill you to include another couple springs in the kit.

Default other things to include

I mean really, for $269 shouldn't it include the 3800 short lipo, an esc, a 10.5 brushless motor, a servo, and a futaba 4pks. If you want to sell the kit in today's economy, you really have to include some extras.

One more thing, please include an hour of lessons from a tlr factory driver. They can fly around the country giving lessons.

If you do all of the above, I will happily get the kit.

Thank you in advance. Oh, and if you include all of the above, I can buy the extra springs.

The kit steel rods are not your normal RTR type steel tie rods. They are thick and strong. Titanium upgrades will save weight and add bling vs needing them for strength.

For $269 you basically get two cars in the box. Yeah you may not get all the tuning springs (at set of springs is only $5!) but you get all the parts in one box to run rear or mid motor. Big bore shocks and all the other innovative features of the 22. Most race kits don't come with all the tuning options so nothing new here. Get some tuning parts so you can adjust the car for your liking in all your different race conditions. If you are going to flip between configurations a bit it would probably be a good idea to get the extra parts to build seperate clips to reduce the turn around time between configurations.

Never had a kit come with extra springs let alone another tranny or 2 sets of wheels or all the tricks to setting it up BEFORE it even comes out.

Surely everyone has been joking......I mean come on.....criticizing the kit BEFORE it comes out????

It comes with multiple motor configurations, extra wheels.....

My only complaint (well make that two complaints) is that I have to wait a little longer AND that I cannot buy a 22T yet.

We could have added in the entire spring set, the price would just be higher. We could have included all the toe block, different castor blocks, titanium turnbuckles, 2 bodies, and 8 sets of wheels. It would have been cool, but expensive. It is our job to evaluate the best option between price and included options and accessories for our entire range of customers, and I think we got it pretty good.

Default sarcasm is misunderstood

Wow, I was kidding. In my opinion the 22 is a great deal. That is why so many racers will get one. Just the ability to run mid or rear motor is worth the $269, and I am not even talking about all of the other innovations that are on the car. I am waiting for the car to be released.

Keep up the good work.
