I just finished building a 22SC and raced it for the first time. I liked it so much and loved the fit and finish I'm going to buy a 22 buggy in another couple of weeks.

Does the buggy come with the emulsion shock caps like my 22SC or will I need to buy then as an option? Not sure if Losi did a running change on the kit or not since everyone seems to run their shocks emulsion style. Just seeing what I need to get when I build the kit.

You can try to shorten the rear link to like 1D to loosen up the back. 3deg toe and low gearbox (not raised). Then of course you need to get the shocks and springs right. I ran orange with 40wt/55 in the back and 35wt/55 with blue up front. That all depends on the amount of traction.
Thanks Magnus, appreciate your advice.

Default gearing suggestions for my 8.5 or 7.5 motor suggestion

Hey i have been contemplating on buying a 7.5 for a while because mostly everyone here does and i like the power and speed of the 7.5 motors.Right now i have a tekin rs with an lrp x12 8.5 and i feel alittle slow on the straight aways on the outdoors tracks.Right now it is geared 25,76 and it comes barely even close to warm so im wondering if i should maybe change my gearing or just buy the 7.5.And if i did is there any suggestions for which 7.5 i should get,if i go with a new motor i want to stay with lrp, viper,or the new tekin gen 2.Thank you for any replies.

Default Associated diff/ thrust lube

Has anyone used Associated's STEALTH diff lube or their REGULAR diff lube which one would be suggested?

I do not recommend the TLR diff lube.

Most run 8.5 or less I find. I have not run a 7.5 since I bought my current lipos 3 years ago. Just too much power (I run a 10.5 now). While you could cover a long straightaway a little faster, the cost in drive-ability is not worth it. Stay with the 8.5t. If it's running cool, you can always gear up.

The TLR stuff is a little thick. IT makes setting the diff a little hard. Other then that it is fine. TLR black grease good and works well for lots of thing from the thurst bearings to CV joints or gear grease for metal gears.
