TLR 22 Racing Buggy Thread
OK, 4mm trailing spindle. TLR1107 is listed on the TLR site as for use with the 22B and 22SCT. Is that true, as in is this a plastic 4mm trailing version that works with the 22 buggy?

Need your advice on this or anyone else's for that matter.
This is a video of our track, its a hard pack track with a fine dust top cover. It is swept twice during the day but its dusts up very quick.
Attached is my current setup for the track.
They car is stock unless otherwise stated on the Setup sheet.
Is there anything else I should look at changing? I love how the buggy is at the moment, my only issue is that it pushes hard.*
* I have not run it yet with the 25* Brass kick shim yet.

Take some drag brake out, and try raising your ride height to 24 f/r

Quick question. Can I cut my bladders and bleed through the stock caps? I just started running my buggy again and want to switch to emulsion. Thanks
Yes you can. Thats what we all did before the bleeder caps came out...they are reallllllly nice if you are thinking of getting a set.

Thanks. I just wanted to make sure before I cut them. I have the bleeder caps on my 22 SCT and the old plastic caps w/bleed holes drilled in them on my SCTE. Just making sure the hole was for bleeding.
What spindles are included in the 22 kit?

If it pushes badly, I might be led to believe the tire combo is not 100% correct, FYI.

Have you tried to run someone's complete setup? You have a handful of things in the setup that are different from what I'd normally suggest. I'd start with my standard setup, and see how it works for you.

The AKA Rebars are the standard and what most of the guys run, I also like JConcepts Double Dee's but feel the rebars give better side bite.

I have the same Panther tire in all three compounds and they all turn different. Softer does not always give more steering, but is is amazing much the wrong tire can make a set up not work right.

question about the bleeder shock caps and the rubber gasket. Are the rubber gasket placed up inside the shock cap or do they go around that threads of the shocks on top.

If you use the rubber gasket, it goes up inside the cap, if you get the TLR334000 o-rings, they slip down over the threads on the shock body. The latter is less prone to pinching and leaking.
