It seems that people seem to thing that the shocks and front tower are the only new things?
Are people not seeing the revised front top deck, the new slipper goodies, the cam motor mount stock, a revised chassis, new aluminum hub carriers, lipo battery holder and carbon braces, and a sway bar setup stock! and if anything like the other FT.1 kits the overall manufacturing of the kit will be better.
I own a B44 and will have no issue upgrading to this kit, selling a roller for 150 means really i am only spending 200 for a brand new 4WD kit... sounds like a deal to me

The revised chassis is also longer along with the front top deck and center cva. The car is 7mm longer. The chassis is also narrower. Along with a revised internal gear ratio of 2.6 instad of 2.5, which means new gears.

The transmission ratio is still 2.5, not 2.6. The 2.6 is a typo. The B44.1 still uses the same diff gears, 3914.
As for the wheelbase, it is shorter because the kit setup has the hubs in the forward position. The max wheelbase would be 280mm, the same as the B44.
The length of the B44.1 vs. the B44 is the same. The reason the measurement is 7mm off is the B44.1 was measured from the very tip of the front to the back of the wing.
The newer chassis is the same length as the older one as well as the same width. The servo has been moved more towards the center line as well as there are no more cutouts for motor and batteries.
Hope this clarifies everything.
