Too twitchy !? She'll definitely not like the B44 then man. The thing is incredibly nimble and twitchy to drive well. This is exactly why I stated I don't think this is the vehicle you're looking for (for her). Maybe for you though :)

then tune it for her driving style. Bagging it and going to the B44.1 is going to open a pandoras box.....

Just put a 13.5 in it. With a mild motor it should be real easy to drive. Once the laptimes are consistant try adding some boost or a hotter motor. The only upgrade would be some weight for the back. Just buy plenty of spare front arms, shock shafts, shock ends and maybe some caps.

Hey guys, i have been running my 44.1 with an 8.5 recently and its good, but i have a spare tekin pro4 3300kv that didn't work in my SCTE and was wondering if anyone out there has an EDUCATED opinion on weather or not it would be a good motor for this car? Im not worried about getting the correct rotor shaft size. Im talking about getting the motor to work well?
thanks, and DAMN THIS THING IS THE MOST FUN IVE HAD IN R/C IN A LONG TIME:p

if you're having so much fun with an 8.5, why would you consider changing it to a 3300kv motor? i think you answered your own question.

A 3300 kv Pro 4 is designed for 3s. It'll be slowwwwww.

I run a 6.5 Trinity D3 and I'm adding timing to make it faster lol.

hey guys,

i finally got my used b44.1 and the kit looks brand new other than grass clippings throught the car. Now here is the question, it came with the stock v2 shocks in the front and had rear losi bb pinks on them/bb mod. it is way underdampened. I drined the oil and put some 35wt losi in it and then put some durango dark blue springs from my dex210 3.5 spring rate compared t the ae silver 3.2, I think it should be close enough?

Now the rear came with proline powerstroke front slash shocks, they fit up perfectly and have the right amount of travel, but i cant figure out what springs are on it, if they are the stock springs i cant seem to find info on the shocks stock spring and piston, do you guys happen to know? What is the #1 stock piston hole size in mm?

Edit: so the powerstroke stock front spring rate are/is 2.8(p) / 6.2(s), im not sure how this equates to a standard spring??
