I run a undertray already but my issue is with it bottoming out. I want to get it to land a little softer, let the shocks do there job. I guess I will pick up some Losi BB's for this too. I already run them on my b4.1.

What are you guys running for Losi BB's? If it's like my b4.1 +8 probably white rears. Im guessing maybe blue fronts to start?

Just ordered green fronts and yellow rear Losi bb springs. Any suggestions for oil weights?
I haves major issue of chassis slap when landing from big jumps as well.

30w rear and 35 front should work good.

It still slaps (chassis hits the ground) but you just dont hear it. Try some servo tape on all four corners with the tray.. Quiets the slapping considerably. As far as the car bottoming out. Always has and always will off big jumps.

I mean c'mon the ride height is what 20mm or 21mm? not exactly loads of clearance.

The car slaps hard off of big jumps period. If you start messing with springs and oil to correct it, you will mess up the handling. The car handles great out of the box, it slaps with tape or the undertray. The car is heavy, is low to the ground, and basically has the design of a road car. Its perfect the way it is...

So it's normal for b44's to slap? Cuz when I practice with 2wd buggies (22's) they don't slap at all. Perhaps because of slightly more ground clearance and they have big bores?? Plus they're lighter so they don't bottom out as easily.

downside the jumps properly to prevent slap.

Yes it's normal but there is a solution

What I have done to stop chassis slap is put some foam in between the under tray and the chassis something very thin and that can cover most of the chassis tray I don't use any tape or anything just some foam and I do not have any problems with chassis slap and I am mostly running on and eight scale track and I have no problems

I have been running the new hobby wing esc with the new lrp x20 6.5 and can't believe how it feels..the esc runs around 90* and the motor around 150*....i tried a Novak havak pro sc with a reedy 6.5 and took it right back out. The Novak was running around 135* & the motor around 165* with no power, it had nothing on top. I even turned up the end bell to 40* and made no difference. The x20 is a big Monster..not booster or no end bell timing..
Here is the link to the esc..

Hey guys...
So I pick up last night the b44.1 and immediately noticed thet the steering have a lot of slop ...
When I turn to one side, the other side is completely freely and not "stable" like my 1/8 scale...
I'm new to all the electric thing, i was racing 1/8 nitro for 7 years. so maybe it's just me and my pursuit for perfection ...
Any thing I can do about thet sloop on the steering ?
P.s I think the problem came from the steering rack , but I'm not 100% sure Im right...
