I prefer Goof Off. It really cuts through adhesives and doesn't harm the CF. GooGone is kind of oily and it makes a mess.

Ok, didn't know if it would eat through the coating on the CF, I got some and I'll try that.

I run on a small indoor clay track. Have you seen the MIP real shocks yet? Those things look just sick. So much adjustablity, I wouldn't know where to start.

It will. I did a search. Don't use it.

I'm replacing the chassis tape on my chassis. Which way do you guys prefer to do it? install over all the screws or installed then cut small holes so screws have access? The tape that was on there was done 50/50 and both parts had issues, the ones that the tape was over had an air pocket and the ones that weren't didn't have the hole cut neatly so it had started to rip. I have the chassis off, so I was thinking install it and cut and trim so it will be clean then just put small pin holes where the screws go in and install them.

Hey guys...
So I pick up last night the b44.1 and immediately noticed thet the steering have a lot of slop ...
When I turn to one side, the other side is completely freely and not "stable" like my 1/8 scale...
I'm new to all the electric thing, i was racing 1/8 nitro for 7 years. so maybe it's just me and my pursuit for perfection ...
Any thing I can do about thet sloop on the steering ?
P.s I think the problem came from the steering rack , but I'm not 100% sure Im right...

No one ?

I took mine to the track first time last wed and didnt notice any slop compared to my 2wd sct. check and make sure nothing is loose or binding, turn by hand with power off. try a different set of tires? check the bearings in the spindle?

I would do the pin holes so you have access to the screws. These cars are not that durable. It seems every time I go out, I break something. Last time was a titanium turnbuckle!:flaming: I prefer to have access to the screws to fix something fast to get back out on the track quickly. I hate paying to run at the track and then spending most of my time wrenching on my broken car. That being said, I run the undertray to protect the CF chassis. At $66 a pop, I can't afford not to run it. It does come off easier than chassis tape though.

I've found a lil trick that has helped out a lot no chassis slap and everything fits tight i use a thin sheet of foam and cut it out in the shape of the under tray and cut it a lil smaller than it and i use the stock screw hole to mount the under tray and and there is no need to tape it fits snug and keeps the chassis completely clean and no damage or residue at all might help you out just something i tried and i run on an 1/8 scale track with some huge jumps works perfect
