as far as the tire subject goes...this is what i do.
trim a TINY bit off the bead of the tire.
cut a small amount off the foams at a 45 degree angle.
take some sandpaper to the rim where the tire bead sits.

just my .02

Yeah that's what I figured so I'll just rebuild everything and let you know how it holds up hopefully I'll be able to get to the track tomorrow

i got new shock shafts and went through them and it turns out that the TA e-clips popped off again so i went back to the other e-clips i hate to have to say it but the e-clips that got me through a whole weekend of practice and racing on a 1/8 track and its a shame to say the e-clips that worked were TRX but it has held up to some insane abuse and there still running fine

My B44 seems to stutter when I am driving it with very low throttle. This is my first 4 wheeler so not sure if this is normal or not. Thoughts?

Not normal. Check the sensor wire and connections.

Thanks. The part I found is DTXC2306. What kind of motor and speedo are you using? I have all tekin stuff in my b4 and love it.

I'm running orion r10 pro and a reedy sonic 6.5 turn

Mini8 Menace 05-09-2012 11:30 AM

just got some parts and ballast weights wondering where to place the weights haven't really found any info on placement or how to know where to place them is there a way to find out where to place them

Asharus 05-09-2012 11:33 AM

the ballast weight screws into the chassis, in between the saddle pack, some guys put 1/2 oz in between the speedo and the battery on the left side of the chassis as well.

Mini8 Menace 05-09-2012 11:41 AM

have the counter weights too

here's what nano techs perform like. granted these happened in my sc10 4x4 multiple times. in my 44.1 they have came close. im running a ready sonic 6.5 in the 44.1

Don't use the bullets that come with the packs. Pick up some duratax 4mm bullets. I have seen people use those crappy bullets on reedy packs with the same result. After switching no more problems of melting.

i usually run between 2 and 4 drag depending on track layout if it has long straights and sharp turns i would recommend 3-4 smaller tracks and not as fast of a track then 2-3 but it all depends on your driving style what i would recommend playing around with the settings until its fit your drive style when your at the track ask around and and see what other ppl are running and their advice you won't get the same answer but start out with a little higher drag and take some off as you get more comfortable
