The 2.6mm screws work perfect with the metal spur.
Or couldn't you just replace the spur with an STRC spur gear. Much better quality spur gear and with a lot less flex. Mine does not leak with it but I will double check.

Guys...

Why spend alot of money to fix it...Get some silicone or gasket maker and be done...Not one leak. You can get it at Target, Walmart, Autozone, Pep Boys, Lowes or Home Depot...it was $ 2.99

The silicone/gasket maker is a band-aide at best.

I would think it would cause the Spur (Derlin) to wear prematurely (if it was warped severely)....so IMO I would fix the warped, Spur or Diff case then worry about the leak....But, if you fix the warped portion then you will also fix the leak.

Not trying to change the subject, but would the Speed Passion GT 2.0 Pro be a good ESC to use??

I am thinking of this or a Mamba Max Pro.

That would work fine for anything down to 3.5T. I would take the GT 2.0 over a MMP.
