Being mod1 think it makes more noise than the models with 48 pitch that i run.
Yes they are. They are louder than my 32 pitch also.

Some of the older 1/8th scale buggies had a flat plate that joined the front and rear bulk heads and also went over the center diff..

If the element 3900 is the 4 pole, then there was a guy at the local track running one and it was just as fast as the guys running the 5700kv standard motor. If you are intrested in a tt send me a pm I have one with lots of mods and extra parts that I am not using.

Crown gear noise...

Diffs -Shim em up. It will be a little bit more quiet. You'll also notice it will roll more freely and won't nose over nearly as bad.

Just got my badlands in and mounted for my backup car, anxious to see how they do! Bad part is I don't think they will work with the t-bone racing front bumper.

Glad you got your DS bending sorted .AJ.

would these fit better?
http://prolineracing.com/tires/badla...-medium-tires/

I liked the Blitz Stock tires and rims on mine. Not as much cushion as a 2.2 tire, but they have held up great in most areas..

If anybody has one they want to part with, send me a pm. I am looking for a roller with no body or wheels/tires.

I want to do a little saddle packs project with it. Has anyone tried that? I saw S/X Runner did it but he hasn't been on here since May.
