Too much torque, not enough speed.

I dont have any pics of the body mount but i will tell you how i did it.
Remove the front body mount from the front shock tower. You will need to raise the body mount about a 1/4 of an inch up. Just drill 3 new holes 1/4 inch above the original holes you will need to get a longer screw and a lock nut to mount the body mount in the new location. Thats is it, still rubbs the shocks just a bit but the T4 body is much more durable and not as brittle as the original TT body. Also you get alot mor clearance for cooling fans on the motor or a larger ESC.

5.5 is better good for mid size tracks, torque is still alot, 540 will be alot smoother in keeping the power down and keeping the acceleration rather than wheel spin. I have a 6.5 540 Novak.

The 550 SC4X can ? I have a buddy who runs one and likes it. Not had any experience of it myself.
Have a couple of 550 Ballistics and like em, esp the rebuildable(ness). I had a 5.5 before in my SC and wanted a little bit more. Picked up a very cheap 4.5 stator on ebay and now I'm a happy camper..

Yeah I think I am going to have to save up for a 4.5t 550 Ballistic. I think part of my heat issues is using a 540 can in my TT. LRP has a nice 550 motor too.
