tough
I think the Ten-T wings look the best as well. Just my .02 worth.
My 12 year old and I took our TT's to the track yesterday for a while. It was a new layout and tough as heck. We both suck as drivers but are learning fast. We absolutely beat the daylights out of them and the only broken part was a rear arm on mine. I think our day would have ended much sooner were it not for the T-Bone front bumpers. They took a ton of abuse.
MAN, THESE TRUCKS ARE FUN.

Ok, took mine to the track and got 10-12 laps of practice, truck was good, still REALLY squirly, turned down my steering rate to 40% started to help on that but then pillow ball kept pulling out on the right side. IDK why... Wasnt hitting stuff... I just may switch to a C-Hub setup which I prefer (way more durable). Anyone else try this yet? Love the truck though, jumps great!

I will see about getting parts to do a C-Hub swap on mine and report if this helps.

I set the location by resting the front of the lid against the front bumper.
You'll need to clearance the front wheel wells and in front for bumper clearance.
The one further change I'm going to make are for taller front mounting posts, it's a bit tight with the stockers.
But, it does look good on the track.

Got my truck all together tonight and I'm rather proud of my handywork considering I have limited resources and most of my gear at home (I'm currently at college). Numerous zip-ties helped tie down my gear but it looks pretty clean to me. Seeing as I got this truck second-hand, I am missing some stock items namely the pinion gear. That is the one thing I need right now to run the truck! The guy sent me a 14 tooth pinion that is too large for my Castle Sidewinder 3800 motor. The inside diameter of the pinion is 5mm and of course the motor is around 3mm. The spur gear is 42 teeth, apparently he switched out the stock blue spur.
My question is, where can I get a pinion gear that will work for me and what size pinion should I get for general purposes? I want to get this thing going!

all you need is an adapter sleeve to go inside the pinion. I know Robinson racing makes one which most hobby stores should have...

Awesome! Is this all I need?

And is a 14 tooth pinion good with the 42 tooth spur and my Sidewinder SCT motor combo?

As for the gearing, it should be plenty fast. I suggest getting one of these to check temps

which can be found on ebay for pretty cheap.

Is 42t the stock spur?
14t pinion will possibly run really hot, especially for racing.
I'm running a 12t and plan on going 11t.
