I'm pleased with my Hobbyking 150A car esc with a Novak 4.5T 550 motor.

EDIT;On 2s lipo it's not even warm.26T pinion.

EDIT_2;Get a Xerun ESC if you think the RX8 is too expensive for you.(Hobbyking 150A car esc and RX8 have the same MOSFETs - and maybe Xerun too)

I dont understand why you guys need a 550 motor in it for. My Tekin Redline 8.5 540 can is plenty of power with an RS PRO on 2cells.

well as i said i loved my 10.5 540 tekin motor. but after numerous failures form ballistics and the tekin i opted for the 550.

Default change layout to lower COG

I just picked one up on Friday.

I changed the layout a littlle by moving my battery forward and tucked the Esc behind. will report how well it works. I did this before with a Jammin SCRT10 and it worke really well.

Anybody done this and not liked it? Hopefully it doesnt jump too nose down.

Default Paint

My painting skills are well below par with some of the bodies I have seen on this thread. Would anyone be willing to paint one for me at a reasonable rate?

If so PM me with an estimate...

For me there's no real "need", I just had one laying around!
So I just threw it in! With a 16t pinion it was barely warmed up!
I have a 540 6.5 laying around too but dont want to have to use
That annoying pinion adapter....

But even under geared it was insane fast!
But seriously the truck is a TON of fun to drive and is very stable!
If I can calm down the steering it would be awesome!
Its really twitchy right now, just need to turn down the steerin expo a bit
On my radio.
