I spoke to a tech at Tekin and he said it should be 10 inches long. I took it apart and measured it and it actually measures 10.5 inches yet its definitely still to freekin short. I thought about using a servo extension but I just dont like that idea much. Plus the plug is like half in half out of the receiver box. No good.
Instead of running the wire over the bridge try running it behind the front chassis brace. No extension needed. Like this >

I use a 12" servo extension the plug end is back by speed control and I just coil up the 10" lead for the speed control. It rides fine sitting behind the battery.

if you want to route it the way its suppose to be routed, a servo cable extension is going to be needed. Myself and a few other guys at the track have all been running a 6 inch extension with out any issues.

As you can see it allowed me to have extra slack through out the routing and I like that as it shouldn't wear any of the cables due to being so tightly routed around the corners and up and around things. It also allows me to remove either the radio box, or the battery tray one at a time with ease.

I hope some of you find this help full. I've gotten allot from this thread time to give back.
Downloaded it with no problem. Looks helpful, nice job!

So in my rc8be i threw in a mamba monster with a tekin 2650kv t8 and some good hitec servo all i need is a battery now. Im deciding between a 4s or a 5s for mainly indoor, which should i use? i want the most power but im thinkin a 5s with a 40c from reedy or a 4s with a 90c from orionthe mah on both is above 4000

5s and 2650kv ought to be complete insanity

I got out today to try all the changes I made to my car and it really made a huge difference. The rear was completely planted. From the stock setup I went to black rear springs, the upper hole in the rear hub, the lowest inner hole on the rear tower for the camber link, and 3 degrees anti-squat.
