Default SNR Graphite Worlds Tower Setup

Guys,

Finally got my RC8Be all back together after doing a complete rebuild. I went with the SNR Graphite front/rear towers (got tired of waiting on the AE version) and did the arm mod.

What are those running these towers using for a setup? I put the stock fatory team setup on it and the 25wt oil feels really light with the car being so much closer to the ground!

Has anyone running these put together a setup sheet for a setup they know works well? Thanks.

Jim

Is there any difference from a nitro converted rc8b and a rc8be from the factory?

raced mine last night and went with 40/bronze fron and 35/black rear with 10 hole 1.1 pistons and it felt pretty good. Also went from 5-5-3 to 7-7-5 and it really helped lock the car in. Haven't ran it much yet but these two changes made a big differance. Also went to three dot down on the c-plate for one degree of anti squat and it helped with rear traction on power out of the corners.

Hey..wondering, what's the biggest change in the "new geometry" or world, towers? Does it make the buggy handle any better?

And anyone have experience with the rpm arms for the rc8be? :O

try the Ghea axles, i get a season of indoor/outdoor racing (every weekend + practicing) out of the centers and rears and a half season out of the fronts before switching holes. Also run cvd boots on centers / rears for longer service intervals. Ive never bent 1 either.

Got alot of slop in the front steering. I wiggle one of the front wheels and there is a lot of movement (Left to Right). Bye the way the power is on. I changed the servo horn and that helped a little but issue still there. Is this normal for The RC8B or do I need to rebuild the front steering set up? If I need to rebuild any suggested upgrades?

The issue is in the steering not the fronts arms but the steering components. It seems to come from the steering blocks.

brings the shocks more upright and lowers them into the arm. should be more direct to absorb force. Supposed to make them more aggressive.

there's a guy on here that just got the new geometry and is still trying to dial it in for his style.

One problem though is I get tons of oversteer when on power coming out of turns. I know throttle control is huge with this overpowered car but Im sure something can be done to keep the back end from swinging around so easily. Im running 27.5 wt in the shocks with 10x1.1 pistons and 553 fcr for the diffs. I was thinking about going to 5000 in the rear diff in the hopes to calm it down but I dont want to lose or slow the steering, the car dives and turns like Ive never felt with and I want to keep that attribute if possible (almost twitchy but I like how nimble it feels). Im running barcodes on a hardpacked high grip clay track. Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks.

Oh and everything else is pretty set at the stock reccomendations.
I run high grip clay as well.
I would run suburbs or wishbones for more grip, see if that works. I run 5,5,5 in my diffs and have no issues with steering on high grip clay.
