tired of waiting for your buggy to cool down after a couple speed runs.. or tired of haveing to let it cool down before you change batteries.. well get you one of these bad boys and some 1/8 copper refrigerator tubing and an old 6v pc processor chip fan and you wont have to worry about that anymore..

hey guys just had some gearing questions, not too sure what to run. I currently am running tekin 10.5t with 87-23. In comparison to other cars on the track I seem to be up there with them. However I am going to be switching to a Revtech 8.5t soon, and I don't have the slightest clue how to gear it. According to my home-tracks website it is 125X65.

I'm 81/23 with a Novak 8.5 on just about any layout.

87/23 with a 10.5 seems a little under geared to me..unless you're adding a little esc timing.

partially cuz i dk what i'm doing lol so for now it just works, but i can always drop to an 84 spur and then go up in pinion, there physically is no more room for a larger pinion with the 87 spur. but yes I was running some timing...till my esc decided to go down the crapshoot.

You're in the right thread but 95%+ of the people in here are racers, or seem to be. So posting pics of your speed run, blinged out ride over and over isn't going to get you any love in here. I'm not bashing you, enjoy the hobby as you wish, I'm just sayin'..

start with 84/23 unless you have an 81 then use that, and IMO I don't see a reason to add timing to an 8.5, most of the time.

Has anyone ever used aluminum rc rims made by Dongguan Qiying Precision Hardware Products Co., Ltd.

i'm haveing trouble finding the specs on them or even some comments since i dont know any chinese folks.. look perfect for some foams, but dunno how wide the rims are..
