I would be worried about contaminating the diff lube if anything but diff lube was used. The aero car stuff is from way back and never seemed to have a problem because it doesn't sling off the gears.

Hey guys
Can someone suggest a good gear ratio for a b4.1 on a medium size dirt track with:
Speed passion3.0- 17.5 turn and Tekin RS PRO, without boost/timing? and a good starting point with boost and timing advanced?
cheers, azza

im running a high bite clay track, where does everyone install there ball ends?i just feel like the front end should steer alittle tighter,im inside on the shock and inside on the caster block.should i put two washers under the balll ends on the tower?should i run any washer on the steering blocks?

The B4.1 doesn't break as easily as the B4 since the plastics are more forgiving. I tend to carry more tuning parts then spares for breakage now than when i had my B4.

First try and running timing with mine...
RS/Novak 17.5
72/31
30 degs boost 4900-15000 rpm
No turbo...
Motor is coming off at 100 degs...
Still playing with it, but I think I need alittle more pop down the straight. Not sure how much timing the SP motors have on the can, the novaks come with 30 degs.

lil bit of weight in the right spots. correct lubes and slime. then go run the car on the right tires. buy spares as needed from the track speed shop. after u observe what others or even urself break, u will naturally accumulate some pieces over time.
